Lissie Covers the Pretenders' '2,000 Miles' -- Free MP3 Download

Sultry-voiced Elisabeth Maurus, better known as Lissie, has been making waves with a string of fantastically executed covers. In fact, they were so good that she compiled covers on an EP, 'Covered Up With Flowers,' which is out now on Fat Possum. The eclectic collection includes covers of Kid Cudi, Lady Gaga, Metallica, Joe South and Nick Cave.

Not included on the EP is her holiday-tinged cover of the Pretenders' '2,000 Miles,' off of their 1984 album 'Learn to Crawl,' a tune Lissie singer covered last December at London's Shepherds Bush Empire.
