Lily Allen's Daughter's Name Revealed

Arriving a year after Allen suffered a miscarriage brought on by a viral infection, Ethel Mary is the first child for the 'Smile' hitmaker and her husband, Sam Cooper. The pair married in June and announced the pregnancy at the same time.
While Allen has talked of retirement and mostly kept quiet since 2009's 'It's Not Me, It's You,' her most recent studio album, she's plenty busy these days. In addition to running a vintage clothing shop in London, she's starting a record label and writing songs for a theatrical production of the chick-lit favorite 'Bridget Jones' Diary.'
No wonder she can't find time to monitor her mom's internet usage.

My own Aund Ethel who was funny as heck. I suppose it's the old genteel names that bring a smile to my heart; Catherine, Mary, Susan, Matilda. I just never got warm and fuzzy over Ethel. Let's hope this little one is called Mary and the Ethel comes from a wonderful ancestor.
