"This is the first track we created. That half-tone bass riff just kills me every time," Taylor-Taylor tells SPinner. "Jon fell at his postgothindustrial best."
Drawing influences from "Kraftwerk, CAN, David Bowie, Tangerine Dream, Yellow Magic Orchestra, Klaus Nomi, Jobriath and other esoteric Glam and Kraut Rockers," O.M.N. is fully dedicated to its fictive origins. The album, 'Totalwerks Vol. 1 (1969-1977),' also comes paired with a graphic novel, illustrations courtesy of graphic artist and cartoonist Jim Rugg. The book will hit shelves on Jan. 31 to coincide with the album release.
