John Stamos to Perform With the Beach Boys During 50th Anniversary Tour

A likely inebriated Uncle Jesse was at Los Angeles' Comedy Store when he confirmed rumors of involvement that had been circulating since the band announced their 2012 tour, saying that the Beach Boys had "asked me to be part of the show ... I feel very honored." He then promptly went to go hang out with a guy who looks like Jesus.
Stamos appeared in the Beach Boys' 1988 video for 'Kokomo' and performed with the band regularly during the '90s, on various instruments and vocals. We here at Spinner are glad the gig with the Beach Boys worked out, because it was beginning to look a little bleak for Jesse and the Rippers.

Stamos is an embarrassment onstage with the Beach Boys, even at their worst when it's just Mike Love, Bruce Johnston and a bunch of hired guys half their ages. But they know he will bring in female fans, just like the cheerleaders they trotted out for the men back in the 90's. Talk about a cheesy schlock-fest. I was hoping this last tour would have them going out with some dignity.
