Sinead O'Connor Splits With Husband Again, Blames Media Again

Increasingly troubled singer Sinead O'Connor is calling it quits on her marriage for the second time in as many months. She announced her intention to split with her husband, Barry Herridge, in the same fashion that she has shared every other detail of her life in recent months, minute or momentous -- via the Internet. The breakup comes after a particularly harrying week for O'Connor, in which she overdosed on pills, broke her ankle, and issued a cry for psychiatric help on Twitter.

Concerning her marriage, the Irish singer wrote on her blog, "The behaviour of one particular paper resulted in very serious damage to my husband and myself personally and consequently made the marriage untenable so that it is now over and I hope the media will kindly leave the poor man alone to get on with his life."

The couple was first wed in Las Vegas this past December, though they decided to go their separate ways only 18 days later. The ill-fated duo reunited earlier this month, but O'Connor's deteriorating mental health proved an insurmountable obstacle.

Despite the dissolution of her marriage, the singer seems to be taking positive strides. "I am now temporarily back on meds but am assured by psychiatrist I am not bi polar and do not need to be on meds for longer than a few months just to lift me out of what depths I was dragged down to since the mis- treatment [sic] of my husband and therefore destruction of our marriage began," she continued on her blog. "I will be fine again within days."

The singer also vowed to stay away from the arena of love, promising, "I will never again associate myself romantically with anyone as I could not bear to see these things done again to someone I love." Here's to hoping this story has a happy ending.

How do you think her life is all over the news? Does anyone really think that the news camras follow her around??? HELL NO. her people leak this **** to get her back in the papers and on the news. everyone does leave her alone. NOW HAVE HER PEOPLE LEAVE OUR PEOPLE OUT OF HER LIFE AND WE WOULD ALL BE HAPPY. She can live a quiet life getting the help she really does need. And the rest of us can foreget she is alive. WIN WIN !!!!

Sinead used to look so pretty, now she looks like her meds had a bad effect on her weight. That's too bad. Poor lady needs help. But either way, she's pretty much just a 1-hit wonder and I don't care about what she does.

I wish the media would leave her alone -- just don't report on her every up and down, no matter how sensational, and let her get the therapy she so clearly needs. All this publicity only magnifies the mood, temperament, and behavior swings.
