Paul Weller and Wife Have Twins, Name Them John Paul and Bowie

British rock icon Paul Weller and his wife Hannah Andrews announced the arrival of their twin boys John Paul and Bowie on Jan. 14.

"Both boys are healthy and doing well following the birth and Paul and Hannah are thrilled and over the moon," a post on Weller's site said today (Jan. 16). "Paul would like to thank his fans for all their well wishes over the last few months." The sentiments were also placed on Weller's Twitter account.

The couple announced the news of the pregnancy in November following press reports speculating they were expecting twins. Weller, who is releasing his new album 'Sonik Kicks' later this year, now has seven children in total with four different women. He became engaged to Andrews in 2010.

Weller will play a string of dates at London's Roundhouse later in March behind the new album. According to the BBC, the musician also recently played on three tracks on 'Pixels and Paper,' the new solo album by Weller's touring drummer Steve Pilgrim.
