Baker's latest album, 'Metal Moon,' has elements of early hardcore hooks, but with a carefully constructed pop sheen. 'Ropes That Way,' the first song on 'Metal Moon,' is an angular banger with 10-ton blues bars, a catchy punk hook and a whole lot of grit. "This is probably one of the most fun songs we made on the record," Baker tells Spinner. "I was thinking of early MTV music videos when we were making this."
Dirty Ghosts are currently playing California shows in support of 'Metal Moon,' out Feb. 21 via Last Gang records. Check out 'Ropes That Way' above.
