After their argument turned physical, Castronovo allegedly chased his girlfriend out of their house when she tried to call her father and grabbed the phone from her hand. He was presented with a bevy of charges including fourth-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief, coercion, interfering with making a report and harassment. He was later released after posting over $52,500 in bail.
A representative told TMZ that the incident "was a misunderstanding that should not have been escalated to such a level in the first place." Castronovo will find out whether he will be charged in the coming weeks.

January 26 2012 at 8:10 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplySo what is a women that hit a man?
A Brainwashed Feminist who stupidly believes all those Hollywood movies with 100 pound women beating up and tossing round 200 pound muscle bound men?
What does "freshman-year favorites" mean?

January 26 2012 at 7:33 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI was raised to never strike a woman - however, in my relatively long life I can tell you that some women can do things that will push anyone over the edge - and then cry when the cops arrive! We don't know what all happened, but at least in some states, if you come to a domestic situation and anyone has a mark on them, then the other one goes to jail. Actually its easier on the cops, they don't have to make a decision on who is what in a he said she said was all about.

Someone who just flips out (over finding her in bed with someone else or that she gave him VD is different). What they talk about above sounds like a clear cut case of a batterer that batters to control. She was most likely calling for help. My batterer would rip the phone out of the wall and take my keys and cell phone so I couldn't get help or leave.
