Lana Del Rey: Singer's Fame Bubble Set Ablaze in Taiwanese CGI News Story
- Posted on Jan 31st 2012 5:30PM by Jenny Charlesworth
No amount of jazzy alliteration or hilarious hyperbole can compare to their kooky CGI Lizzie Grant news story.
Yes, watch Lana Del Rey's fame-bubble burst into a flames as the singer plunges back to earth complete with wacky sound effects. Follow our poor little indie star as she morphs -- complete with magical chimes and smoke! -- into a "gangsta Nancy Sinatra" on the 'SNL' stage as music industry suits snooze (check out those ZZZZZs!) in their plush studio seats. There's more flames, obviously, as the video continues and we're left with one final insightful subtitle: "Bigger and Bigger... when will it finally explode?"
The fact that Del Rey's album, 'Born to Die,' debuted at No. 1 in 14 countries on iTunes Tuesday suggests, shockingly, not quite yet.

**** the industry and all of you hating faggots. Adele is an awesome artist but what the hell is with all the hate for Del Rey? Is it seriously THAT bad? As if her album was the equivalent of the movie, "The Room". Please....Get off the bandwagon and join the real world of level-headed, real criticism.

Maybe, instead of writing about how horrible Lana Del Ray is, cause her dad's rich, you should be doing an actual job and stop these ads for dates in China.

but sites like this have it in for this chick, and as a result, I hope she does well. You need to judge music based on the merits of the music. Not on image and wealth of parents. You music critics hold yourself in far too high regard.
