During an appearance on 'The Tonight Show,' Madonna told Jay Leno that her performance at Sunday's big event will be decidedly nip-free. When Leno asked what rules she'd have to follow, the 53-year-old pop legend said, "Well, for sure no nipples. But I wasn't gonna go there. I mean, I don't like to repeat myself, or do what other people have done before me," she joked, obviously referencing her own scantily clad past and Janet Jackson's infamous wardrobe malfunction.
Despite all her famous -- and infamous -- accomplishments, Madonna admitted to having some pre-show jitters. "It's the most nerve-racking thing I've ever done," she said. "The Super Bowl is like the Holy of Holies of America ... And I have to go on in the middle of that 'Holy of Holies' and put on the greatest show that was ever put on before."
In what may have been a response to Elton John's joke about her lip-syncing, Madonna did promise that she'll be singing live during the halftime performance, but she still didn't reveal which songs would be featured. As of now, it seems obvious that she, Minaj and M.I.A. would perform their collaboration, 'Give Me All Your Luvin',' the new single from Madonna's upcoming 'MDNA' album. Judging by pictures of Madonna's halftime show stage, which were snapped by TMZ, it also looks like she'll be performing 'Vogue.'
