Amy Winehouse Coroner Resigns: 'Unqualified' Autopsy May Be Ruled Illegal

Inner North London Corner Dr. Andrew Scott Reid appointed his wife, Suzanne Greenaway, to the role of Assistant Deputy Coroner. However, Greenaway resigned in November of last year after it was discovered that she did not match government requirements.
U.K. law states that the coroner's office may only appoint persons that have been a solicitor in the Law Society for five years, and have been a "qualified medical practitioner" for the same amount of time. Greenaway had only been a solicitor for two-and-a-half years and was only qualified as a nurse in her native Australia.
"In November it became apparent I'd made an error in the appointment process," Dr. Reid recently told The Sun. "While I am confident that all of the inquests handled were done so correctly, I apologize if this matter causes distress."
Along with Winehouse's inquest, roughly 30 other investigations may be deemed illegal, but only if the High Court decides that's the case.

An article in today's news links racism and bigotry with low IQ scores. Some of the posts certainly indicate that the writers are barely away from walking on all fours, but are still dragging the knuckles. It is unfortunate that they never will get 'it'.
Amy Winehouse was a very rare talent. Folks wonder about the pull of drugs and ask why Amy Winehouse and so many others would waste their lives in the haze of
alcohol and drugs. The answer is unfortunately too simple they wanted the high more than life.
She was very talented.
Rest in peace.
Watching this uniquely talented and gifted young Amy singing with an anchor around her neck makes me see the irony. I wish she was as grounded mentally, as her talent was solid. She deserved many more years of brilliant music-making, as is befitting of a recording artist with the magnitude of talent she possessed. We, her true fans, will always be left wanting more.

As long as I can identify body parts, know how to use a scalpel, read the results of any tests performed to see if their values are within limits or not and write a report, then I or anyone can perform her autopsy. It won't take much to determine her cause of death.
