Apparatjik (Coldplay, A-Ha, Mew) Team With Pharrell on 'Do It Myself' -- Song Premiere

"Apparatjik works in cells around the world as an open platform for collaborations," bassist Berryman tells Spinner.
"After working with Pharrell in Miami, Martin came home with a demo of a fantastic song titled 'Do It Myself,' which they had written together," Berryman continues. "We just said, 'Hey, let's just add some bits and use this as an Apparatjik song!' I love the fact that a musical collective can be this unpredictable."
Their new album is one section of a three-part project known as 'Apparatjik World.' The other two parts are an iPad magazine (currently available) and a series of performances that will unfold in 11 cities over the course of 2012. For now, check out 'Do it Myself' above.

coldplay are a great band. i've never understood the hate. i've seen em four times total including this current leg of the tour. they're my fav band, so i'm biased...but yes they put on a great show, audience participation, just got my tix at Ticketsinventory.com easily and had a fun time. chris martin sacrifices a lil' bit of his vocals for more energy onstage, but it is all good. have a great time.. that show at the gorge is gonna be a great night .

May have something to do with Echo and The Bunnymen and some quip between the band members at a show they did together. I'm excited to know that Magne Furuholmen is in on this. I'm a big fan of the old 80's new wave and A-ha is one of my faves. There's always something odd happening in the past background. Did you know there is a bit of a chill (a ha ha ha couldn't resist) between Madonna and Morten Harket? Listen to the song "Dream myself alive" by A-ha from their hunting high and low album. Morten always considered it a gift to someone he once loved and so on and so forth. I don't think Morten even likes to bring it up, sorry Mr. Harket. He's an extraordinarily nice guy.
