Mitt Romney learned this the hard way when he attempted to follow in the musical footsteps of President Barack Obama, who recently wowed an audience with his rendition of Al Green's 'Let's Stay Together.'
The former Massachusetts governor made one last push during a campaign event in Florida on the eve of the state's primary election. Instead of reciting the lyrics as he usually does, Mittens attempted to lead the crowd in a round of 'America the Beautiful.' Unfortunately, it just wasn't very good.
Rather than coming off nonchalantly melodious like our current President, Romney looked stilted and awkward, not to mention a little off key. Perhaps he should've thrown a little Mick Jagger flair in there -- after all, the "rooster" always gets the crowd going and Mick Romney isn't too bad a name. Yet, despite being lambasted by press outlets, Romney won the election handily.
So what do you think? Who sings it better: President Obama, or likely GOP candidate Mitt Romney.
