Cudzoo and the Faggettes Own Their Crazy With 'Daddy Issues' -- Song Premiere

The music industry has fawned relentlessly over the sacred ground of Brooklyn, N.Y. for the past several years, but Queens can rock too, you know. Cudzoo and the Faggettes are Astoria's newest loud-mouthed punk mavens, bent on burning your ears with offensive '60s pop while on an endless pursuit to hook up with your boyfriend.

The band's upcoming album 'Daddy Issues' paints these edgy ladies as the female form of the Black Lips, complete with whiskey-slinging antics and plenty of innuendo. The record's title track begins with an infectious hook, like a souped-up Ronettes with chunky electric guitars.



"We wrote 'Daddy Issues' because 'daddy issues' has become the catch-all excuse for any woman who is acting crazy, slutty, hysterical, or generally bats---," Cudzoo's Erin "E-bomb" McCarson tells Spinner. "We all had great fathers, but often wake up cuddling Doritos with a d--- in our back, so what's our excuse? We own our crazy and celebrate it. The only man we blame for our mistakes is a Mr. Jameson."
