The clip, which premiered earlier today via Vevo, features the inspirational lyrics to the song and a bunch of slice-of-life shots of Americans going about their days. It's tried-and-true Bruce stuff: Power and hope in solidarity, set against a backdrop of New Jersey (well, we're assuming that's where it is anyway).
Spoiler alert: About halfway through, Springsteen's video turns from black and white into color, which we guess is a sign that things are getting better? Either way, Bruce fans should enjoy it.
In other Springsteen news, the Boss announced on Thursday that he had hired Clarence Clemons' nephew Jake to play saxophone on the E Street Band's upcoming 'Wrecking Ball' tour. Longtime Springsteen and Southside Johnny collaborate Eddie Manion will also handle sax duties on the trek. 'Wrecking Ball' is due out March 6 from Columbia.
