Adele, Grammys 2012: Singer Wins Best Pop Solo Performance

And that makes three. Adele picked up her third Grammy of the night for Best Pop Solo Performance for her hit single 'Someone Like You.' So far the singer has swept all her nominations, going three for three. She has also grabbed Grammys for Best Short Form Music Video for 'Rolling in the Deep' and Best Pop Vocal Album for her showstopping '21.'

"My life changed when I wrote this song," an obviously emotional Adele said during her speech. She then made it a point to thank the doctors who performed surgery on her vocal cords.

Despite being heavily favored for pretty much every award she has been nominated for, the singer was up against pretty stiff competition: Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga and Pink. Three down for Adele, and three more to go.
