Tedeschi Trucks Band Win Best Blues Album for 'Revelator' at 2012 Grammys

Tedeschi Trucks Band's 'Revelator' has won Best Blues Album at the 2012 Grammy Awards. This is the Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks-fronted band's first Academy win.

'Revelator' is a fusion of the couple's individual styles, melding Tedeschi's husky sweet vocals with Trucks' incendiary slide-blues style.

The band thanked several late legends Pinetop Perkins, Etta James, Hubert Sumlin and Honeyboy Edwards who have had a tremendous influence on their playing styles.

TTB is a great band, awesome sound, great musicians. Otiel is looking sharp in that pic, but where is Mike Mattison? Now that Derek helped Susan get her Grammy can he get the Derek Trucks Band back together? Todd on bass, Rico on drums, Kofi on keys and flute.....The Count on percussion and Mike Mattison on those awesome vocals. Please come back!
