Claude VonStroke Announces Hatched World Tour + Compilation
Dirtybird
The lineup varies from city to city, launching in New York on Thursday (Feb. 17), with VonStroke, J Phlip, Worthy and Leroy Peppers, and continues with a mansion party at WMC, an 11-headliner, 15-hour BBQ bash in London, and six more dates in the U.S., including a return to San Francisco, the birthplace of Dirtybird's legendary Golden Gate BBQ parties, with the four founders, VonStroke, Justin Martin, Worthy, Leroy Peppers (Christian Martin) and French Fries.
"Hatched is a concentrated overview of the current sound of our label, Dirtybird," VonStroke told Spinner/RPM. "I'm very excited about all the music coming up in 2012, we have been around for seven years and I feel like we are just hitting our stride."
The Hatched Tour coincides with the March 13 release of Dirtbird's 'Hatched Vol. 1' compilation, which features tracks by VonStroke, Catz n Dogz, Soul Clap and more.
"'Hatched' was put together from a combination of blind demos and established artists submissions," VonStroke continued. "I'm extremely stoked about the Hatched world tour we put together, with the help of Point Blank online school, as its the perfect way to experience the Dirtybird sound, and BBQ!"
