After accepting the award from Black Eyed Pea Will.i.am and comedian Rob Brydon, the singer gave an emotional acceptance speech saying, "This award means much more to me than you know and I just wanna say that without the support of everyone is this room and everyone in the U.K. I'd really be lost, so thank you, I love you." Perhaps she should consider a move to England?
Del Rey beat out Aloe Blacc, Bon Iver, Foster The People and Nicki Minaj to snag the award. Tonight's win follows a generally successful start to 2012 for the singer, after having delivered a string of improved live performances. Del Rey's album 'Born to Die' debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
