Sled Island Lineup: Feist, Archers of Loaf, Thurston Moore to Play Calgary Fest

Feist, the Hold Steady, the Archers of Loaf and Thurston Moore are among the first batch of acts confirmed for this year's Sled Island festival held in Calgary, Alberta, June 20-23.

According to the festival site, others bands on the bill include Grimes, Andrew W.K., Timber Timbre and Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks. In total, over 200 bands will play during the festival at venues throughout the city.

A special trailer is up on the festival site to get you hyped. While Feist says Calgary's Olympic Plaza -- where she's performing on June 22 -- is "a wonderful place to sit and enjoy lunch during the noon hour."

Tickets for both days go on sale Saturday through Ticketmaster, with various options for festival goers.

Last year, Sled Island featured Dandy Warhols, Chad VanGaalen, the Buzzcocks, Blonde Redhead and Of Montreal. 2012 marks the festival's sixth year and is sure to be just as memorable (read our review of the festivities here).
