People Get Ready, 'Disappear' (Greg Saunier Remix) -- Song Premiere

People Get Ready come from all over the musical map. Including members from David Byrne's band and Yeasayer, the eclectic quartet is known to do full-on performance pieces during live performances, resulting in what they call a multisensory "mixtape."

After releasing their first EP last fall, the band decided to remix the entire thing, and now you can hear Greg Saunier's reworked version of 'Disappear.' "I wrote Greg an e-mail telling him we need one more gunslinger for the remix of the EP. His reply was simply 'I am your gunslinger,'" vocalist and guitarist Steven Reker tells Spinner.

The band's as-yet-untitled full-length debut will be released in the spring. Until then, check out the remix of 'Disappear' below and hear Saunier trade out a bit of the original's propulsive forward motion in favor of a funkier organ and bass-driven groove. Enjoy!
