And like most Osheaga lineups over the years, there seems to be something for everyone. Other big names confirmed include Florence and the Machine, the Shins and MGMT alongside Canadian artists Feist, Metric, City and Colour and Drake prodigy The Weeknd.
Some acts who've been off the road for a while will be making appearances as well, including Garbage, Bloc Party and Franz Ferdinand. The non-headliner lineup is also solid, with M83, Young the Giant, Amadou & Mariam, Yeasayer, rapper A$AP Rocky, Brand New, Dumas, Passion Pit, Kathleen Edwards, the Raveonettes, Black Lips and the Walkmen slated to perform.
There's no official word as to who will be headlining each night of the three-day event or what the schedule is going to look like for each day. Organizers leaked information as to both Black Keys and Young the Giant performing prior to the complete lineup announcement.
Three-day festival passes go on sale Friday at noon with general admission tickets priced at $217.50 CA. A special ticket edition pass will go for $222.50 and $318 for a reserved seating access pass. More information on single-day and two-day tickets will be provided at a later date. The complete lineup is available on the festival website.
