As far as the sound of the album, singer Jónsi will be producing it along with his frequent collaborator Alex Somers. Jónsi claims the album is "heavy and floaty," and if any band could pull off that apparent contradiction in terms, it would be Sigur Rós. "There's more electric stuff than before ... but don't worry, we haven't made a dance record," he continued. Jónsi also made it known that the album will not contain any English lyrics.
Bassist Georg Hólm revealed that the album title translates to "steamroller" in English. "The music kind of just rolls over you. In a good way," he explained.
The band has also confirmed a tour and several festival appearances this summer. According to Hólm, the band is designing its own "stage set" for the upcoming live dates. Listen to the song and find the tour dates below.
