Big Hassle
The Oxford rock band's latest album, Sand and Snow, pays homage to folk songs through their storybook lyrics and memorable choruses. The quartet's new tune, "Danny, Dakota and the Wishing Well," follows two lovers as they progress further apart during their lives.
A Silent Film
"Danny, Dakota and the Wishing Well is a love song to a bygone era of Americana that inspired us in books and films when we were growing up in England," singer Rob Stevenson tells Spinner.
"The lyric is a story through and through with a respectful nod to Bruce Springsteen's The River; except we made up our characters when I like to believe he lived his heartbreak for real. We can't wait for people to hear these new songs."
Check out 'Danny, Dakota and the Wishing Well' above and stay tuned for their full-length Sand and Snow, out June 5.
