Japandroids Cover Nick Cave on B-Side of New 'The House That Heaven Built' Single

Vancouver noise duo Japandroids will be covering super-intense rockers Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds on upcoming seven-inch vinyl single "The House that Heaven Built," which is set for a May 15 release, according to Polyvinyl Records.

Japandroids will knife through Cave's "Jack the Ripper," which should go nicely with the bristling pre-mainstream Against Me!-meets-Handsome Furs vibe of "The House that Heaven Built." The song's a snarling number sure to catch the attention of those who missed out on the Japandroidsmania that took place when the band's Post-Nothing debut album came out in 2009.

"The House that Heaven Built" will be on Japandroids' second album, Celebration Rock, which is set for a June 5 release date. The band will tour Europe in May before coming back to North America for more dates in June.
