Adele Promises New Song in 2012, At Least Two-Year Wait Until Next Album

During an interview with French radio station NRJ she explained, "There will be a new song, probably coming out at the end of the year. But then it depends how quickly I write some other new songs."
As for the next LP? Adele answered, "It won't be for a good two years." That means if she sticks to her outlined schedule, her next album will be called 24 and probably will have nothing to do with Jack Bauer. Responding to demands that she finishes the album quicker, so we can have a 23, she parried, "Yeah, but I have to write it! It takes a while."
Until then we can just listen to "Someone Like You" a couple thousand more times.
