"Coming home Kiev, stairs to plane, roll on bad, heavy, lost footing, went down heavy, first impact right knee, broken, second impact left wrist, broke, third impact chin, bruised," Quatro wrote on her Facebook page earlier today.
Quatro's official fan site provided more detail.
"Suzi has asked us to inform you all that she has had an accident whilst getting off an aircraft in Kiev," a message posted on her fan club site on Sunday read. "She has suffered a broken left wrist and broken right knee-cap and is in plaster cast for both. Unfortunately, this now means that Suzi's appearance in Detroit has been cancelled."
Quatro was to appear at the 21st Annual Detroit Music Awards on April 27.
A follow-up post yesterday showed Quatro seated with an ankle to thigh cast on her right leg and a cast on her left forearm.
"To all my friends, family, show organizers, musicians, and fans... what can I say," Quatro said in a Facebook post Monday. "I have been planning this day for months... rehearsing my parts of the show, rehearsing my acceptance speech, sending out invitations to people who I want to share this very special evening with me... I even had people flying in from Australia!!!
"I am in serious pain, inside and out. And don't know which is worse," she added before stating a video she prepared for the Detroit Music Awards will still be shown that evening and a video with her acceptance speech showing her injuries, casts and "a wonderfully black chin."
"The Queen of Rock and Roll, rolled one step too far," she said.
Another Facebook post from Quatro this morning said the airline didn't seem to appreciate her condition when she left the city.
"Kiev airline people wanted me 'out' of the country, can you get on the plane... over and over... unbelievable... needed to be carried and rolled on and off," she wrote.
According to her site, Quatro has dates scheduled in mid-May for Brazil but it's unknown if the injuries will also effect those dates. A handful of European dates are also slated for the summer.
The Detroit News reported Quatro was to receive a Distinguished Achievement Award with her sisters Patti and Arlene as the Pleasure Seekers. The band will still perform at the Detroit Music Awards with 4 Non Blondes' Christa Hillhouse filling in for the injured musician.

Yes, she's the queen of rock'n'roll--without her, there would be no Joan Jett, Lita Ford, or any of the other rock girls who were inspired by her.
