Courtney Love: Kurt Cobain and I Would Have Three Kids, Open Marriage

Courtney Love is the authority on pretty much nothing. However, one area in which she might have some degree of expertise is her home life with late husband Kurt Cobain. Today is the 18th anniversary of the day the Nirvana frontman took his own life and, as such, plenty of fans, admirers or just curious speculators have been left to wonder what exactly he would be up to were he alive today.

"We'd probably live on the Upper West fuckin' Side now and have three fuckin' kids," Love speculated in a 2011 interview with Everybody Loves Our Town author Mark Yarm. "We might even have a divorce, like both be on our third marriage. I don't fuckin' know. He might be a playwright, [or have] his latest show in MoMA ...

"I'd have a 16-year-old son and be his model wife. Given the money that is involved here, we could probably have had a fuckin' yacht. We could have gone open marriage at some point. I don't fuckin' know."

These vignettes of domestic splendor run contrary to an interview she gave to Vanity Fair last year, in which she claimed that if Cobain were to come back today "I'd fucking kill him. I'd fuck him, and then I'd kill him."

I always found it entirely appropriate that her band is named Hole, because in essence that is exactly what she is - just an absence, a negative power that empties everyone and everything around her. Many artists have been excused for their abysmal failings as human beings because of the calibre of their art; Courtney, who despite everything, IS a very talented artist, is not and never will be excusable. The greatest failure of any artist is to overshadow their work, and this is exactly what she does. No matter what she achieves in music her basically poisonous nature is all that will endure.

Everyone around Courtney Love and Kurt have said that Kurt was miserable with her and trying to divorce her. And... there really is good evidence that she may of arranged his death. The supposed "hitman" turned up dead after talking about the whole situation to a documentary filmmaker -- that's a fact. She sent threatening calls and messages to that filmmaker, too. Maybe she did, maybe she didn't. If he did kill himself, she definitely helped drive him to it. She got his money, and she's blown it all. She's pretty greedy about it.

I agree. & what about the comment to Vanity Fair about Kurt comign back & how she would kill him.... I mean if thats not something I dont know what is. There are several things that lead to her. Tom Grant the PI she hired to try & cover up her ass is till in belief she had him killed.

lying bitch .... he was in the process of divorcing her and wnated her out of his will. If he were alive, i.e. if he'd survived her, she'd be a bag lady on the streets somewhere selling her revolting saggy ass.... and he would probably be treating her as her daughter treats her, as though she doesnt even exist.

"Given the money involved, we'd probably have a f**king yacht" ...... Laughable at best! She has PLENTY of money, and still she is in debt paying off lawyers and lawsuits! Kurt would have dumped her, or probably had her committed to some permanent loony bin.
