Holy Esque, 'Ladybird Love' Song Premiere: Listen to Scotland's Finest New Group

Holy Esque have only been around for a little over a year, but they've already been making waves in their native Scotland and the rest of the U.K. With no members older than 20, it's almost jolting to hear how refined these alt-rockers sound. If you don't believe us, then just take a listen to "Ladybird Love," from their upcoming self-titled debut EP, below.

"Ladybird Love was written during our first trip to London" vocalist Pat Hynes tells Spinner. "Despite the upbeat intensity of the song, it walks through a pretty dark place. The lyrics are shrouded by desperation and addiction, but somewhere within those three and a half minutes there's a light you can believe in. It's all open to interpretation."
