Coachella 2012 Friday RPM Preview: Swedish House Mafia Vs. Amon Tobin & More

Kicking things off with a French touch, Breakbot plays Sahara (aka the Rave Tent) at 2:30PM, followed by fellow Ed Banger SebastiAn, and Neon Indian at 4:25 at the Outdoor Theatre. There's a pretty sizable gap after Neon Indian's set (we'd probably check Grouplove), which might prove a good time to rest up, because it's non-stop from 8PM on.
Heading back to the Rave Tent, Alesso, Afrojack and Datsik rock Safari from 7:55 'til closing, but we'd likely opt to check Pulp at the Coachella stage (c'mon, it's Pulp), and the Rapture at Mojave right after, followed by M83.
For the headlining set, "EDM" fans will likely swarm to watch stadium house kings Swedish House Mafia at the main Coachella stage, but our choice would be Amon Tobin's incredible "ISAM," which is easily the most visually interesting set at the festival, and seriously not to be missed.
Check back tomorrow for a preview on Saturday's lineup, and more recommendations, and have fun in the desert!
