The 62-year-old music legend has been fighting colon and liver cancer for some time, and while both were thought to have gone into remission, doctors believe they have spotted a secondary tumor. Gibb is also said to have developed pneumonia, and friends and family fear he only has days to live.
"If there is anyone you would put money on pulling through such a dire situation, it would be Robin because he is a fighter," a friend told the paper. "But this is a battle he will struggle to win."
The "How Deep Is Your Love" singer was admitted to private hospital in London, where his wife, Dwina; brother Barry, a fellow member of the Bee Gees; and sons Spencer and Robin-John are holding a bedside vigil.
