The set will include over five hours of unreleased material: 65 previously unreleased tracks, over 130 rarities, three DVDs, a collectable 7-inch, as well as a deluxe hardcover book. Each of their seven studio albums will be expanded into two-disc deluxe editions. The whole shebang is currently listed at £157.99 which converts to $253 in the U.S. Blur-o-philes, wipe the drool off your chins now.
The band will also release a separate box set collecting all seven albums on vinyl. For any casual fans, you can still just go and download "Song 2" on iTunes.
This pretty much guarantees that Blur will be calling it quits for good after their engagement at the summer Olympics. Until then, check out the box set's trailer below and click over to Consequence of Sound for the full tracklisting (Spoiler alert: It's long.)
