Bjork Cancels Tour Dates, New Simian Mobile Disco Video, 2 Great Festival Lineups & More

Bjork has been forced to cancel two upcoming performances in Argentina, including her headlining gig at Sonar Sao Paulo, due to an inflamed nodule which was recently discovered in her throat. No word as to whether she'll be forced to cancel her further dates, which include headlining slots at Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona and Porto, or how her voice will be affected. Simian Mobile Disco have returned with an animated video for "Put Your Hands Together," one of our favorite tracks from their forthcoming Unpatterns LP. [YouTube]

Check out a teaser clip from Shit Robot's forthcoming 12" release "Teenage Bass" b/w "Space Race," out May 21 on DFA. The single is the first in a 3x12" series called "The Green Machine." Sounds good. [YouTube]

HARD SUMMER Los Angeles has announced its official lineup, featuring a nice variety of performers, including Squarepusher, Little Dragon, Erol Alkan, Bootsy Collins, Brodinski, Claude Vonstroke, AraabMuzik, John Talabot, Jokers of the Scene and Lunice, alongside rappers Action Bronson, Danny Brown and Mr. Muthafuckin' Exquire. James Murphy is also listed as a performer, though the lineup does not indicate whether he will be performing a live (!) or DJ set. [HardSummer]

While we're at it, check out the incredible location for the Dimensions festival in Croatia this September, which features Theo Parrish, Moodymann, Fourtet, Little Dragon, Carl Craig, Mount Kimbie, Levon Vincent, Joy Orbison, Gold Panda, Andrew Weatherall, and pretty much everyone else. Here's a pretty cool video for new Warp artist Kwes., who has already drawn comparisons to an electro-pop Brian Eno. "I had a wonderful time doing the video for "bashful," Kwes. said of the clip. "I hope you enjoy its understated awkwardness as much as we enjoyed being awkward."[YouTube]

Wow, Voz has no idea what they're talking about.

Yea the Nugent thing is a joke and he's just making himself look like an ass at this point. He was more than likely going to use that show as an opportunity to make more remarks

Ted Nugent's response kind of reminds me of the mother who said "My Johnny is the only boy who's marching correctly in the band." Once again if performers etc., want to WORK, they had better behave, as I said IF they want to work.
