Courtney Love Thinks Her 'Online Persona Is a Disaster'

The funny thing about Courtney Love is that her never-ending saga of embarrassing public statements is often punctuated by clear-headed and lucid observations that belie the singer's tempestuous nature. This is most recently demonstrated by her chastisement of her own twitter feed, which has been the source of a lot of controversy as of late. So, despite losing the rights to Kurt Cobain's public image, Love has decided to keep a closer lookout for hers.

"I'm not a social network genius, as evidenced by being the first and only person ever to have a Twitter lawsuit," Love told Papermag. "At the time that lawsuit happened, I didn't even really fully get what Twitter was for or how it worked. I know this investor guy who's very serious about Twitter and he lectures me like, 'Oh no, you should only tweet on certain days at certain times, and you should only have a certain amount of people who can follow you'... What? There are so many rules...

Love also revealed that she looked into companies who would remove unwanted stories about her from the web. "My online persona is a disaster - that's not me," she maintained. "You can ask for help from these companies that supposedly remove stuff from the internet for you, but they're hilarious.

The problem however was that they were far too expensive. "(One company) said they were going to charge me $250,000 per one page of results. A quarter-million dollars per page? Are they joking?" Fiscally sound move, Courtney Love, well played.

From what I've seen of her, she is a fairly good actress, but her mouth is way too big. She does some weird things and people think she's nuts...
If she cleaned up her act, I wonder if it would help her image? I sort of doubt it. She made her bed..

Meth, Cocaine, and an assortment of every ILLEGAL chemical on the market make Coutney who she is. Twitter has nothing to do with it. Am looking forward to her death in 2012: she's on my 2012 Dead Pool.

she married kurt-go-bang.......... she was already messed up when she did that, but him commiting suicide put her over the top, and she hasnt been right ( if she EVER was normal ) after that....once a druggie, always a druggie.......

She is nothing more than a drug addicted POS. She has created an image of herself that has become the standard for people like her. She will never be able to change that image, even by removing "bad" stories about her on the internet. She is pretty much useless in general.
