No Doubt, Album Release Date: New Record Drops September 25, Band Announces (Video)

In the announcement video below, posted today on the quintet's website, singer Gwen Stefani goofs up the big reveal, initially telling fans the record will arrive on Sept. 26.
"Nope," says bassist Tony Kanal, prompting the sometime solo artist and fashion maven to correct herself.
"Thank you all so much for your support over the last 25 years," the band wrote on its website. "We're really proud of our new album and we hope you love it as much as we do. We'll be posting a lot of updates between now and September as we shoot the video and start rehearsing to perform the new songs live for all of you. We'll send plenty of photos and webisodes as we go so you're there with us. See you soon... September 25th, 2012!"
No Doubt's last album, Rock Steady, dropped in December 2001. Since then, we've seen wars, protests, uprisings and a global financial meltdown. What the world needs now is power chords and trombones. Who's with us?

Oh God! Their music is carnival like drivel, and Gwen's caterwalling singing sounds like a wind up doll with hiccups. No need for them to come back, nobody missed them. Jeez, didn't Gwen make enoungh money posing for fashion magazines, beauty products commercials and selling her baby pictures.
