According to Eavis the chart-topping star declined the invitation because "She knows that we want her anyway, but she doesn't want to do a thing our size.Going on the Pyramid Stage is a bit daunting in front of 80,000 people; it's a bit much really," he elaborated.
The singer will still be attending the festival however -- but only as an onlooker. In Eavis' words, "She comes every year usually, and has her own little party." For now, it seems, Adele seems content to relax and recuperate from her hectic 2011.

Well, I recently read that Adele had surpassed Michael Jackson in sales for her album 21 ... and the truth, I recognize that sing for 80,000 people in Glastonbury is a few intimidating, she is a professional singer and should satisfy her audience; in the end, they are who make it possible to break such records ... I remind you that Michael Jackson sang for more than 135,000 people in one of his concerts of the Victory Tour (Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City); will Adele overcome it too?
