Jack and White is a folk-pop duo consisting of singer-songwriters Jack Matranga and Brooke White. The two met while traveling in the same musician circles throughout the U.S. and bonded over their mutual love of California-kissed folk, pop and rock of the '60s and '70s.
Undercover, Jack and White's brand new covers EP, finds Jack and White tackling tunes by the likes of the Mamas and Papas, Eurythmics and the Black Keys. One of the other songs the duo cover is Electric Light Orchestra's "Telephone Line," a perfect slice of symphonic pop from the band's stellar 1976 album A New World Record. For their new take on the song, Jack and White called in Fitz of Fitz and the Tantrums.
