Lana Del Rey, May Jailer: Did Singer Have ANOTHER Alter Ego?

Lana Del Rey was making music as Lizzy Grant long before she assumed her current stage pseudonym. Now, several sites are reporting that Rey had yet another nom de plume -- May Jailer.

We have no idea if this is true, but one internet fan named Danndy Garbagé has gone to great lengths to upload an entire catalog of May Jailer material to YouTube. There's an album cover, album title (Sirens) and everything you need for a release.

But, as Stereogum points out, it's also possible that this is an elaborate fake, done by someone with equally timid vocal ability and a strong affection for Jewel circa 1995. So is this Lana May Grant? Are we getting punk'd?

Then again, if this IS Lana Del Rey, then may we suggest she do something like this again? Besides, May Jailer is kind of a bad-ass name. But if it ISN'T her ... oh, just listen to the songs.
