KinderAngst & Debbie Harry, 'Do It Yourself' Song Premiere: Blondie Singer Teaches Kids the Joy of DIY

KinderAngst is a concept album created by punk rockers Rachelle Garniez and Palmyra Delran. The project is designed to help children deal with tough emotions and real world problems through real rock 'n' roll. It's also getting kids involved in music at a young age.

The projects's new single, "Do It Yourself," is an homage to the DIY generation, showing little rockers that doing your own thing and being your own boss can be incredibly satisfying. And who better to lead that charge than Blondie singer Debbie Harry?

"It was totally cool that Debbie wanted to be a part of KinderAngst!" Delran tells Spinner. "We loved the song and had blast working with her in the studio. 'Do It Yourself' is about the joy and fun of learning to do things on your own, mixed with just the right amount of bratty silliness to make it fit right into the concept of the record."
