A crowd of over 25,000, the largest to ever gather in Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square, showed up to witness headliners the Flaming Lips launch a confetti-spewing, hamster ball-rolling, balloon-tossing celebration of life and death and music. They provided the perfect cap to a day that also included Aussie dance-rockers Art vs Science, misleadingly named Alaskans Portugal. the Man and beloved indie rock weirdos Of Montreal.
