Can we officially call today "Yeezus Day?"
Basement Batman, 'Chemistry' -- Video of the Day
- Posted on Jun 22nd 2012 6:00PM by Sam Einhorn
Artist: Basement Batman
Video: "Chemistry"
Highlight: "The video was directed by our homie Jay Sprogell, and shot entirely in Bushwick, Brooklyn," vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Ben Martinez tells Spinner. "We got a great hook up on the warehouse, and are lucky to know some great dancers. The lead dancer is David, our bass player's wife, who was also the lead dancer in one of Mac Miller's newest videos. This being our debut video, we really wanted to incorporate things that we like and dancers in a warehouse is definitely one of those things. The shots where you see the fluorescent shaped dancer are actual shots of the lead dancer dancing on a roof in a light suit designed by Charlie Roberts. The video for 'Chemistry' follows one man's fruitless journey as he searches for a connection in a desolate future."
