Although London's Bloc festival was shut down prematurely due to overcrowding, a few decent things came out of the debacle (from this side, anyway). On top of the various free events that popped up as a result, there's this rare Squarepusher mix of some of his old tracks. Pretty cool. [XLR8R]
Figured it'd only be a matter of time before Rustie caught on. The Glaswegian Warp artist's "After Light" is now the backing track in a new Adidas ad for the London Olympics. Watch for Rustie to collaborate with Kanye next. [FACT]
Digging this new LOL Boys edit of Lil Wayne's "Nightmares of the Bottom," really dope. Also their new single "Changes," which just hit the net. [SoundCloud]
Wow, LCD Soundsystem's "Losing My Edge" is 10 years old. [Stereogum]
Protect-U just put out an EP on Vibrations (hope that's a reference to the film), which includes "Slow Ultra," a track we've had on repeat all weekend. They're also former hardcore kids, so respect. [SoundCloud]
