The victim's name has not yet been released, and while authorities don't suspect foul play, according to 680 News, they've yet to determine the cause of death.

My daughter works in the music industry so I know of these tours very well. All I can say is that I wouldn't want my 19 yr old, even if that's considered and adult, going to one ,especially if she was a girl.
It's pure crap. Not entertainment. The musicians, and I use that term loosely, are hardly worth making the trip for, not to mention dropping dead for and the environment reeks of lowlives. Please convince your kids not to go.
you cant say that its pure crap or not music, because it not only contains melodies that make it music, thousands of people love it, so your singular opinion just means you dont like the music (and thats okay) but please refrain from bashing other peoples passions and dreams. thank you.

It's awesome you enjoy music but there is no need to bash this type of music just because you don't like it. Calling the people there are lowlives only points out your insecurity and isn't appreciated in the least bit. Nothing wrong with being spoken but if your gonna bash people remember you'll be liked and loved less cause it's silly childish like my 2yr old niece.
Having worked several Warp Tour shows. I would not be surprised if she died from heat exhaustion. Every year, we in security pull kids out from the show who have partied too hard and not drink enough liquids to keep themselves hydrated. Not saying this is the case here. Just will not be surprised that what I described happened.

They have to make their own choices and sometime they pay the final price. We cannot protect them from everything only teach them to take and be responsiable. This is a sad story but we still do not know the cause of death. It could be drugs or booze but she is an adult at 19.
July 16 2012 at 3:09 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyHow horrible! poor young girl, poor family! My son is the same age, if this happened to him I would be mortified. Very tragic. I don't think the commenters trying to put on a tough guy act would be making the comments your making if you had to bury your daughter at 19!!
July 16 2012 at 2:09 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThat's sad, but not suprised it happened. I used to go to all day concerts, and it can be brutal. The weather is hot and kids don't drink enough water to combat it. Not to mention kids who are diabetic or have other health problems really need to keep themselves medicated, fed, and also hydrated. If you are a parent and your kid is going with friends, please make sure they are careful and have enough money for food and drinks, and they take breaks.

July 16 2012 at 6:14 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate downMy son and his girlfriend went to it in Minnesota. It's hot out and the kids are not drinking enough water. Please push this on your children, friends and family.
July 16 2012 at 1:32 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplySome people are missing the point. A young woman lost her life & her family & friends are greif stricken. It should matter what type of music it was. All you people asking punk is still around? And that passes for punk? Were you dropped on your head or something? It is about someone far too young losing her life. Thoughts & deepest sympathies go out to her family & friends. You other people yammering on about other bull is really ignorant & insensitive. Hope this never happens to anyone in your family!

July 16 2012 at 1:45 PM Report abuse Permalink -1 rate up rate down ReplyObviously you're not human. If I have to tell you why anyone should feel for her then you need to seek some therapy. It's called compassion. I know we are all going to die fool. But, this was a 19 year old that hasn't even lived yet. Furthermore if you don't care GOOD for you. Why bother reading the article at all if you don't give crap.
July 24 2012 at 1:17 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate downJust because it was a 'punk' thing doesn't mean that it was drugs or anything. It doesn't make a difference what music you are into as to what you do. She most likely over heated like people do at these things. stop judging her because of the music she likes and just focus on the fact that a young girl has died. the people who know Taylor know she was a sweet girl and will be missed by all.

I've been in the pit (as I call it) and it's very easy to get sucked down and stomped on and with so many people there they might not have even known someone was being trampled. I was lucky and thrown over the barrier on my head. Got a concussion but at least I wasn't stomped on.
July 16 2012 at 12:15 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThese bands pass for punk rock these days? What a laugh.
July 16 2012 at 11:44 AM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down ReplyNo they don't. Some are metal some are ska, there is actually quite the collection of different music genres. The punk thing is the fact that the writer of the article does not know the different between them and just lumped them together, then chose the most shocking genre for the article.
