As such artists as Smashing Pumpkins, Jack White, Bloc Party, the Shins, At the Drive-In and Lana Del Rey performed at the three-day event, authorities nabbed fans for possession of cocaine, amphetamines, ecstasy and other drugs. Of those busted, more than 192 concertgoers will reportedly appear in court to face supply and possession charges.
"Over 400 people were found in possession of prohibited drugs and that is simply unacceptable," said police superintendent Stuart Wilkins. "This culture of drug-taking at music events needs to stop."
"Clearly there were people under the influence of drugs," he added. "It is a culture, there's no question about it."
