Peter Frampton Injured in Car Accident, Blames 'Texting Woman Driver'

Turns out his neck injury was so bad he will have to use a voice box from now on.

PEOPLE WHO TEXT OR TWEET OR TALK ON CELL PHONES WHILE DRIVING SHOULD BE THROWN IN A PIT WITH DEADLY SNAKES..SO FOR ALL YOU IDIOTS OUT THERE THAT DO THIS.....RELAX,ITS OK YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE IN COMMUNICATION WITH OTHER PEOPLE (ALL) OF THE TIME ALRIGHT?PEOPLE GOT ALONG WITHOUT TEXTING,OR TWEETING OR FACEBOOK,AND EVEN CELL PHONES FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS...SO R.E.L.A.X HUH. OH AND NO I'M NOT SOME OLD FART........BUT IF ITS SOOOO IMPORTANT AN LIFE JUST CAN'T WAIT AND YOU MUST COMMUNICATE WITH SOMEONE ABOUT SOMETHING...THAN HERES AND IDEA............PULL THE FU@% OVER....THANKS

It's amazing how people can be so biligerent when it comes to talking and texting while driving. No matter where you are, especially here in California, people won't even try to hide the fact that this is what they are doing. All fines regarding the use of a cell phone by a driver should start out at $500, and then increase by two hundred dollars for every infraction thereafter. Those who don't pay should be treated like those who don't pay child support....They lose their drivers license until they do pay. You gotta hurt them where it counts. Then stop and think, "how did the human race ever survive without the cell phone from the time the first car was invented to the earlky 1990's without it?" Kinda boggles the mind, huh?

Get well Peter Frampton. To the person texting and driving that caused this. Shame on you. It's against the law and just plain stupid. To the person that blames old people for bad driving. Just hope that when you get to what you consider old, they have perfected a car that can drive itself.

My neighbor is paralyzed from the chest down (he has limited used of his arms but cant really use his hands) because of a woman who was texting and crossed the centerline......and she had her kids in the car with her! I would hate to lose the ability to text as a passenger, but they should build something into phones that disables the texting feature when the phone is moving over say 10 mph using the phones gps

Thats why you should sue them for every dollar they have even put a lien on there property. between texting and thes old people on the road your bound to get hit

I think a few of these posters need to re read the story. Peter was not the one texting. When I am driving it absolutely amazes me how many people I see texting, some are parents with kids in the car. What a bunch of fools!!!
