Dubbed "the real King and Queen of England" by Roses singer Ian Brown, Wiggins and Ennis weren't the only luminaries on hand for the intimate gig, which took place at the Adidas Underground venue.
Led Zeppelin legend Jimmy Page, Jam and Style Council main man Paul Weller, Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie, "Harry Potter" actor Rupert Grint, Boy George and Clash guitarist Mick Jones were also in attendance.
The Stone Roses performed 11 songs, ending with a spirited run-through of their classic "I Am the Resurrection." Before taking the stage, Brown joked about the Manchester foursome's troubled history.
"Sorry we're late," he said, "We were having a shoot out backstage."
