In Their Words: "The song 'Visceral' came out of a jam we all started one day before practice. I think it pretty much encapsulates a swarm of intensity and angst that seemed to be in the air at that time period, at least for me. The lyrics were very easy to write, because they summed up precisely what I was feeling ... I was in a constant state of emotional unrest and over-sensitivity, which I couldn't explain to anyone. During that first jam, tears were literally streaming from my eyes as I squeezed them shut. I am sure at least a few of the guys noticed, but we didn't stop for anything.
