Bjork Performs in Support of Pussy Riot, Devo Releases Anti-Mitt Romney Song, DJ Mag Accused of Corruption & More

Bjork has posted a "Statement in Defense of Pussy Riot" on her website, inviting the group to perform with her. "I would like to invite Pussy Riot to join me in a particular song on stage which was written for all enhancement of justice. (You can guess, once, which one.)" The song in question is her 2007 song "Declare Independence," which you can watch her perform in support of Pussy Riot here. [Bjork.com]

Devo will be releasing a tribute to Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney's history of animal cruelty, "Don't Roof Rack, Me Bro! (Remember Seamus)," a reference to the pet dog Romney once left in a roof-mounted kennel for 12 hours, while driving. [SlicingUpEyeballs]

DJ Mag has been accused of receiving payments from "top DJs" like Paul van Dyk, who allegedly paid £15,000 in exchange for coverage. However, some, like Chicago house legend Derrick Carter, are not surprised. "So what if Swedish 'House' Mafia and David Guetta fake their sets and DJ Mag is taking cash for column inches," he tweeted. "Don't act like you didn't see the 'Wizard Of Oz' as a child..."
