On Tuesday we reported about DJs for Obama, now check out Spin's story on Romney-supporting Las Vegas millionaire Steve Wynn, who recently secured residencies with literally every big name in EDM, including Skrillex, David Guetta, Afrojack, Deadmau5, Steve Angello, Diplo and Tiësto. A pretty awesome and terrifying look at how EDM's heroes are connected to Karl Rove and "unlimited secret money." [Spin]

On the heels of his recent LP Six Cups of Rebel, which was released earlier this year, Norwegian disco producer Lindstrøm has announced a new album, Smalhans, in stores Nov. 6, mixed entirely by Todd Terje, who has crafted extended edits, to be released as singles. Flying Lotus has finally relesed his collaboration with Erykah Badu, "See Thru to U," which will appear on his forthcoming album, Until the Quiet Comes, via Warp, on Oct. 1. Weird and dreamy, just how we like it. [YouTube]

Moogfest has announced its 2012 lineup, which features Orbital, Miike Snow, Richie Hawtin, Squarepusher, Four Tet, Carl Craig, Pantha Du Prince, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Actress, Blondes, Disclosure, Trust and many more, on Oct. 27, in Asheville N.C., in honor of synth pioneer Bob Moog.
