Pussy Riot Reaction: Tegan and Sara, Kate Nash, Gallows, Stars, Boy George Speak Up + New Anti-Putin Single

News of punk band Pussy Riot's guilty verdict today on charges of hooliganism and subsequent sentencing of two years in prison in Russia has sparked international outrage from a variety of people, including musicians.

Perhaps not coincidentally, some were also incensed with news that Russian Gay Pride parades in Moscow were reportedly being banned for the next 100 years.

Also certainly not coincidentally, Pussy Riot have just today released a new single via the Guardian newspaper called "Putin Lights Up The Fires."
